Recent Developments in Ultra-High Speed and Large Area Photomultiplier Tubes
Presented at the 1st EPS Conference on Plasma Diagnostics, has now been published in the Proceedings of Science.
Photek has been working with AWE to provide a photomultiplier (PMT) solution for fusion diagnostics. By using microchannel plates (MCP) as the gain medium, the time response of the PMTs can be as fast as 100 ps FWHM.
